PRESS RELEASE
17/04/2008
This year, the Reus School of Horticulture turns 25. Among other activities, it will celebrate the occasion with an educational exchange with 20 students and professors from Poland and France.
As part of the exchange, the team at the Reus school has asked the Cambrils Tourism Board to plan a full-day outing for the visitors to discover the municipality's green areas.
The Tourism Board will begin the day by offering the 20-person group a guided tour of the port district in French and English, followed by a ride on the Tourism Train to the gardens in Samà Park, as they are particularly keen on seeing one of the most fascinating garden areas in Spain. From there, they will be taken to the Cambrils School of Hospitality and Tourism, where they will be given a tour of the facilities and have lunch. In the afternoon, the Cambrils Tourism Board has arranged for a boat ride along the Cambrils coast.
It is important to offer visitors what they ask for. In this case, that means helping them to discover Cambrils through our parks and gardens. According to the Town Councillor for Tourism, Ana López, the Cambrils Tourism Board is ready to offer its full co-operation to all interested parties to this end.
